A one-on-one session is designed to help you understand what we do, and why we do it, answer any questions that you may have, and provide you first exposure to CrossFit workout.
Learning CrossFit allows you to be ready for whatever life throws at you. This is an excellent place to start.

2. Attend the Free Community Class Saturday Morning
Come see what Steel Barbells is all about at our FREE Community Workout held every 1st Saturday of the month at 10:45am.
This class will introduce you to the basic philosophy behind the CrossFit Method, give you an opportunity to experience a CrossFit workout scaled to your individual fitness level, and get a feel for our great Community at Steel Barbells.
Reservation is required to attend. This workout is intended for true CrossFit beginners and first timers who are curious about Steel Barbells. You are welcome to stay afterwards and see a CrossFit class in action.
3. Attend Foundation Classes
We have Foundations classes morning and night each day of the week. Simply check out our schedule page.
The Foundations curriculum is designed to introduce you to the basic movements in CrossFit, as well as some additional exercises used in the WODs (Workout of the Day), and to gradually expose you to the intensity of the workouts. We place a heavy emphasis on proper movement mechanics and gradually increasing your training intensity.

4. Three Personalized One-On-Ones With a Trainer
We understand many people have busy schedules and would prefer to book a personalized time to complete their introductory sessions.
You have the option to book your 3 fundamentals classes one-on-one with a trainer at a time that suits you best for $150. You’ll receive personalized attention, feedback and coaching, and after completion you’ll be able to graduate to the general CrossFit classes.
